# Once CTE Coaching Overview

Once affords Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers and supervisors with an unprecedented level of transparency into the activities of their high school students while the high school students are working in elementary school classrooms.

Once records instructional sessions, tracks attendance, tracks student pacing and progress, and evaluates elementary student mastery through regular, automated oral reading fluency tests.

Other than infrequent, in-person observations, CTE teachers and supervisors have never had this level of access to information on what is actually happening when they send their students into elementary school classrooms.

In order to empower CTE teachers and supervisors to use this information, Once offers two coaching services that can be purchased together or separately.

<table><thead><tr><th width="181.4296875">Service</th><th>Description</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>CTE Supervisor Coaching</td><td>30 minute coaching meetings weekly, biweekly, or monthly to review CTE high school student videos, evaluate CTE high school student performance, and continuously improve instruction. This service is directed at the CTE supervisor or teacher who can use the analysis that Once provides to directly support high school CTE students.</td></tr><tr><td>CTE Learning Community</td><td>Monthly virtual meetings led by a Once coach with the CTE supervisor or teacher as well as the CTE high school students who are providing instruction to help the high school students enhance instruction and best practices using the Once curriculum.</td></tr></tbody></table>
