# Once Pro Coaching Overview Weekly instructor coaching is the heart and soul of the Once program. Once’s national network of instructional coaches review video recordings of each instructor individually and provide weekly coaching (30 minutes by video + email/text as needed) to ensure that each instructor is teaching effectively. Coaching can also be offered less frequently (biweekly or monthly) at a proportionally reduced price, but we recommend weekly coaching for all instructors until they have mastered all of the Once instructional objectives, which typically takes 1-2 years. After one year of delivering Once, school-based instructors receive an average of 20 hours of coaching in the Science of Reading and are highly effective reading instructors.
