Access

Weekly Email

Every week, Once users get an emailed summary of data available in the Data Portal. The email comes from the email address: [e-mail]. If you do not receive the email, please check spam and whitelist that email address.

No student PII is contained in any email. Clicking on any table in the email opens the Data Portal so you can explore the data in more detail.

School Email

School users receive an email that displays input metrics by school:

Instructor output metrics (End-of-Year Prediction of student progress in Once and Oral Reading Fluency)

District Email

District administrators receive a similar weekly email which looks at inputs and outputs but only shows school-level data, not instructor level data.

Website Access

In order to explore the emailed data in more detail and with more context, or in order to view data in real time, from https://www.tryonce.com, click “Data Portal” in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

In the screen that appears, enter your school district email (do not enter an email ending in tryonce.school) and press “Enter”. You will then receive an email with a link that logs you into your Once data portal.

Permissions

⚠️ The data you have access to in the data portal is automatically governed by your role in the school district.
