# School Planning & Implementation Process

The Once program team will meet with building leaders (school principal and point person) to discuss and plan for best practices for successful program implementation. &#x20;

The objectives of the school implementation planning meeting are to:

1. Learn about the school
   1. Grade levels, classrooms, number of students, staffing models, class size
2. Learn about the principal and point person
   1. Tenure in district and at the school
   2. Priorities: how does Once fit in school goals
   3. Decision making authority
3. Answer questions about Once
4. Design the implementation

## Monthly and Quarterly Meetings

The Once team will meet regularly with the school principal and point person to review progress with the implementation plan, assess current data in terms of meeting implementation goals, troubleshoot obstacles to providing consistent Once instruction, and make any necessary changes to the implementation.
